Food has been consistently good in the past. Service has never been the best. "Seat yourself" policy. Usually a long wait before waitress comes and brings a menu. Ordered shaved prime rib sandwich today. It was terrible. Slices had more fat than meat. So much gristle it was inedible. Waited an exessive amount of time for the waitress to come by. Prime rib was good, cooked well and tasty. Baked potato must have been precooked and kept under a heat lamp. It was extremely overcooked and tasted awful.
We always enjoy going to Prairie Bluff! The food is great, and the service and staff are the best. You can always count on seeing a familiar face—everyone is so friendly and welcoming. It’s truly a hidden gem with food and drink specials every day of the week and FREE live entertainment. Definitely check it out!
I wish I could comment on the food, I tried to make a reservation but they don’t take reservations, was told they get people in and out quickly. So family from many directions showed up Sunday, NO ONE TAKES YOUR NAME OR WHEN YOU CHECK IN… HOW DO YOU RUN A RESTAURANT LIKE THIS?? The 25 people in the lobby were confused, people being threatened in a line which meant nothing??? How in the world can you run a place with zero greeter, it’s embarrassing honestly. Wasted our family’s time.
Food was good! Service was terrible. Waitstaff was not dressed in clothing suitable for a golf course establishment. There was a question with our alcohol drink order and instead of handling the situation with professionalism, we were scolded at our table by two of the servers. Calling an 83 year old man a liar after ordering his first drink of the day is not my idea of exceptional customer service.
