Dr. Wheeler of Powhatan Gentle Dentistry is one of a kind!! She always made me feel comfortable & important. She has excellent “bedside manner”, she always explained things beforehand in depth so I wasn’t caught off guard. I would follow her anywhere, she truly is a special dentist! Smaller facility than what I'm use to.. definitely less crowded. Everyone friendly from front desk to the hygienist to the dentist. Just in for a cleaning... lot of X-rays, more than I'm use to. Got a little worried when cleaning around fillings.. scraping with the metal pic. Felt something hit my ear.. ?? Little uncomfortable once, twice. Dentist was super nice... professional. Overall good experience.
I have a healthy fear of going to the dentist and have had a lot of dental work done throughout the years. Powhatan Gentle Dentistry has been extremely patient, gentle, and encouraging with every visit. I don’t feel shunned or judged by this office. Exceptional staff from the front desk to the dentist.
This was my first visit as my Dentist I’d had for years retired. Everyone from the receptionist to the assistant were wonderful. I loved my new dentist she was through and took the time to answer all my questions I look forward to my next visit Thank you so much 😊
Recently switched to Powhatan Gentle Dentistry as my previous dentist left the other dental office I was using. Dr. Wheeler, one of the dentist's at my new office is superb! When you crack a tooth/filing like I just did last night and they get you in so the dentist can take a look and make sure you can wait a bit for the repair- that is exceptional service.
