5 STARS! Outstanding oral surgeon and staff. I'm writing this review because they deserve it and also to help anyone looking for an oral surgeon. Recently moved to Portage county. Needed new dental care providers in the area. Fortunately I was recommended to Dr. Powers. Dr. Powers has extracted a wisdom tooth, and this morning inserted a dental post; both done under 'local' anesthesia (not knocked out). Wow all they care about is the $100 my insurance didn’t pay. Wow. They could care less that I’ve been in pain for months, that I was in a tight spot financially. They do not care about patients well being. The almighty dollar is what they care about.
I should have written this review when I had my appointment with Dr. Powers. I am still suffering from the effects of his mistakes. Had to go to Columbus to have surgical mistakes from implants corrected. I would not want anyone else to experience this trauma.
I needed help after seeing another dentist that botched an extraction. Dr. Powers took one look told me what he could do. Fixed it the next day as promised. I would definitely recommend him. He did fantastic.
No insurance....19 teeth...1 hour 10 mins.- 7,500.00+dollars...5,000.00 up front...no greed there!
Dr. Powers is an excellent oral surgeon.
I had my wisdom teeth pulled not even a month ago, and it was great. Dr. Powers is patient and calm and really cares about the comfort of his patients. I would definitely recommend him to other people.
I went in without an appointment to get my tooth looked at. Him and his staff is very nice and professional. I was able to get wisdom teeth removed that day without an appointment. I think I was there less than two hours total, including x-rays and exam. It was virtually painless.
