Dr Powers is a great doctor. He is warm, attentive and thorough. Always appreciate him.
Runs a lot of test and has a nurse call to give follow up with only minimal explanation. If you try to follow up he is not in the office but one day a week so impossible to see in a timely manner. Spends 90% of time being a fast pass supervisor md. Does little but look at computer during a visit and seems in a hurry to rush to next patient. I realize medicine has changed however this is poor service as a family physician.

Very good doctor. We have moved and now miss this office. Wish he would open a practice in Nashville.
No continuity of care with doctor and nurse practioners. Never can get appointment with Doctor ("he's not here on this day that day,etc....") so if you settle for an appointment with NP, good luck if you can see the same one twice. After you are seen,assessed and a plan of care set, you may or may not be called back in a timely manner. Then when someone does call you with test results, they know nothing about you. Hope you don't have questions because you won't get any.
