I want to give a huge SHOUT OUT to the owner of Powers Diner. Last night during the parade he was the only business within a 2 block radius who would allow people to use the bathroom who were not paying customers. It was 90 degrees out, and very humid. I also had 2 children with me who take meds that make them thirsty. Awesome way to do business!! Way to go!!

With the diner being only medium busy at best, waited for more than 20 minutes for 5 burgers and a fry! Drinks, including 2 milkshakes were completely gone before food came. Buns were dry with butter/grease smeared on top of them and it still wasn't enough to save them from breaking apart! Less than a teaspoon of meat per burger, and the meat was bone dry! Barely edible which is very unfortunate since I had loved the sliders under the previous ownership! Everything seemed very unorganized. Save your money and try somewhere e... read more

I've tried to like this place. However, everytime I've eaten at Powers, there is always something that just isn't right. The hair on my plate tonight, was my last straw...absolutely disgusting people! The waitress was very nice and knocked the burgers off of my bill. This gesture was appreciated but, not enough to make me ever come back. I'll stick with my road trips to St. Clair Shores for Travis burgers. (Thee best sliders anywhere)

Business response:

I am so sorry this has happened to you as the owner at powers i am sorry i am glad my manager took care of your bill please come in i will buy u lunch again i am sorry
