I have been a patient of Dr. Powers for about 20 years. He is always upbeat, kind and through. Dr. Powers keeps you informed every step of the way and has a great selection of stylish eyewear. I highly recommend him for you and your family's eye care.

After moving to Petoskey in August 2018, I asked my coworker for an eye doctor recommendation. According to her, Dr. Powers was the best - and she was right. My entire life I had always gone to a very quiet optometrist who made me feel awkward and nervous (and apparently I had never received some of the regular tests for eye health either). Absolutely amazing, takes great care of me and my eyes. He knows how to work with insurance too! Been going here since I was a kid and I don’t think I could ever bring myself to go anywhere else.
When we moved to Northern Michigan in 1983 we started going to this office. At that time Dr John Degroot was the only doctor and we loved him. Since Dr Degroot retired we now see Dr Powers who we also love! Very thorough and kind! Will never go anywhere else!
