Order the fire pasta and you will need a fire hose The Powerhouse is one of Tacoma's (Puyallup) original power sub station from way back when. It is smartly decorated with some electrical type fixtures. The food ranges from good to great. My favorite has always been the Fire Pasta (linquini w/ chicken). It used to be super spicy but has toned down some over the last couple of years. You used to have to have a lot of water on stand by...but now its slightly milder, but just as good. Try it. A Powerhouse of a Restaurant This restaurant is one of my favorites! It's still got much of the original electric hardware intact inside and it serves as a very unique atmosphere to enjoy your food. My favorite here are the pizzas, especially the hawaiin, which are always very good. They have beer batter crusts here as well, yum! PROS: Decor, Food CONS: Not a ton of seating
worst place ever! This is the worst place to eat in the whole world! The food is very sub par to down right bad, and the service is just as bad if not worse. My wife and i went their on Friday the 20th 2009 for some dinner after a wedding and had the worst experience i have ever had at a restaurant with service especially from (AMANDA REA) "who was our server" and (BEN) "who was the manager on duty." Powerhouse Restaurant Brewery is great I've always had a good experience at Powerhouse.. The food and drink are always good. Sometimes you have to wait for a table, but what does that tell you. The powerhouse burger and fish and chips are my favorites.

Great Place! This is not just a restaurant but an 'experience.' Formerly the railroad's power house, the pub-style restaurant's 'electrical' decor reflects the building's original use. They have a nice selection of salad's, burger's, pizza's, pasta's, etc and their prices are reasonable. If you like spicey food the 'Fire Pasta' is a must!
