Needed a gym to train at and found Powerhouse LIC. What a spot!! great location, easy access, super clean, great equipment (adding more), numerous attachments for machines, staff was phenomenal, owner was great and showed me great hospitality as a guest. Have to pick up apparel from the Pro Shop as well don’t leave without some merch. Added bonus smoothie shop inside gym for that recovery shake. If you live in this area I highly recommend and if traveling into the city this is a great spot to hit.
My favorite gym! Super clean, maintained and good quality equipment, well spaced out, and great environment. Bonus points for being woman owned! Debby and her staff are so welcoming and friendly.
Can’t stress this place enough, if you are looking for a top quality gym with a wonderful staff (Liz since I go in mornings) and friendly caring owner (Debbie) and respectful members who put weights away and clean up after themselves, then look no further — this has it all. I’m so happy to have found this gym thats nearby my place and well worth the premium over the next door Planet Fitness. If you’re serious about your health and fitness journey then come to here!
