The vet had lack of compassion for our family and our pet as we took her there Friday to be put down. He had no background knowledge of what we had been through with our dog, and the professional advice we had sought before bringing her to him. He rolled his eyes and looked at my husband in DISGUST when he saw my dog. It was noticed by myself, my husband and the receptionist. I'm sorry for your feeling I lacked compassion and there is no excuse for that. That was a rough day for me. Too much death. I'm here to treat them but humane euthanasia is part of that. You see I lost my own dog that day due to an unsuccessful chemotherapy treatment. My partner of 13.5 years.
Dr. Powell was recommended to us from our breeder for services. His staff and him have been great to us! They made us feel very confident it our pups surgery and sent us home with all the right information. We definitely will be going back!
He is the most compassionate vet I have used.
Dr. Powell and his staff have been great for me and my family, the care and compassion when I had to put down my Sadie, and the same level of care when I took my new 5 month old pup recently, is awesome!

It was an extremely sad day for us but Dr. Powell helped us when no one else would and now my daughters beloved, beyond words puppy of 13 years is no longer in pain...I can’t thank you enough Dr. Powell!!! Bless you Sr for all that you do!!!
We had a after hours emergency with our pregnant Mastiff Mercedes that resulted in a c-section. Not only was I surprised to reach Dr Powell himself after hours but within minutes told us to head his way. We couldn’t be happier that we did. Not only was our outcome for both Mom and her pups great but the service was impeccable! But it didn’t end there. We got 2 follow up calls to check on momma and babies within 24 hours of surgery.
