While my home was having restoration work done, I stayed at an Airbnb home in Brandon, Florida. managed by Powell Realty. It took a while to get back home but I stayed at the Airbnb from mid-May 2025 to end September 2025, and again May 15, 2026 to June 15, 2026. I found Cody and Janice Powell approachable and very quick to respond to query or need; the entire staff and organization are top-notch. Great host!
My experience with Janice, Cody and team has truly been exceptional. They have been very responsive, when I have had a concern with the unit they are quick to respond and send a maintenance person round to assist. They also make an effort to get you know you. I’m so grateful and would recommend to others. Also to community is very peace and I enjoy being by the lake. Thank you Janice, Cody and team.
I have been working with Janice since 2015. She is amazing and very professional. She will make sure her clients best interests are always met. If you see bad reviews, they are mainly from tenants. Owners love them and all the work they do. Highly recommended!
WARNING: Our experience with Powell Realty has been terrible. The home we rented had black mold, roach infestations, and constant maintenance issues. My children got sick from the mold, and they ignored all our complaints. They even charged us fees that were completely false, like NSF rent charges when our account had the funds. No empathy, no professionalism just excuses. We don’t want anyone else’s family to go through what we did. Be careful.
