We stopped in for breakfast one morning and we had very friendly service and the food was amazing!!! I had the breakfast quesadilla and it was delicious!!
Our meals were amazing! Everything we ate was fresh and cooked perfectly. We loved it so much, we ate here two nights in a row.
The worst steak I have ever had. I'm not a picky eater, but the steak I ordered was to be cooked medium and came out over cooked very well done. It was comparable to beef jerky. Not edible. The staff was nice enough to give us a 10% discount. However that was not enough to keep us as returning customers. Very disappointed.
The service was super friendly and the food was very good. My dad had the game sampler, the elk was especially good. My mom has spaghetti which was also good. I had the portobello mushroom and really enjoyed it, there was also a large selection in the kids menu. What a great place!
We stayed at this lodge and ended up eating 5 meals here over our 4 day stay. All of them were awesome. Highly recommend the restaurant even if you don't stay here.
Our first vacation in the Black Hills... we couldn't have picked a better place to stay! Beautiful rooms. The service and food is also awesome! Perfect place snuggled in the hills and close to everything!! I'm going to be telling everyone about this place! 10 stars!! It's perfect!

We stopped here for breakfast on our way to Mt Rushmore. The food was delicious and perfectly prepared to our requests and the people who served us were so happy and friendly that our entire day was brightened. I would definitely recommend and hope to someday return to stay in their cabins.
