I highly recommend trail riding at the Poway Equestrian Center (San Diego Trail Riding Company). My child and I took the 1.5 hour trail ride with the instructor Gabby, and had a really nice ride on trails surrounding the property. We had some riding experience (lessons/camps) but even if you have never been on a horse, you will be fine. We felt comfortable and safe on Gypsy the little Mustang, and Nick the Palomino. Amazing experience with Kaity, Rodgy and Maverick! We enjoyed the beautiful views and trails, as well as Kaity’s knowledge and conversation! The ranch was beautiful and hope to be able to go back sometime in the future!
Went for trail ride on 2/11/2025. Had a great time. Been about 15 years since I’ve rode a horse. Was easy to book and easy to find location. Was only rider during that time frame so got a personal experience. Kaity was very helpful, knowledgeable and had a great personality and attitude it really made for an enjoyable ride. The horse I rode (Maverick) was very well behaved. Will definitely recommend and check back in to ride again sometime. Thanks 🙏
