The worst experience I’ve ever had with a physician. In addition to having even poorer social skills than you’d expect from a surgeon, he seems to immediately assume you’re a drug seeker when you come to him for help. I never even mentioned meds, simply asked for treatment options for the pain stemming from compression fractures and a host of related issues. I had a kyphoplasty in 2015. He was great and so nice to me. He did a fabulous job. I had an X-ray today for an unrelated thing and my Dr saw it and complimented his beautiful kyphoplasty.
Absolutely the worst surgeon I've ever encountered. A completely self absorbed narcissist who's never wrong...except when he botches your surgery. If you return in so much pain you can't stand it they treat you like a drug addict. When they realize they messed up they tell you there's nothing more they can do and send you somewhere else.
Bed side manor doesn't exist with doctor...never again
I've given this much thought, almost 3 years to be exact, before i decided to leave a review. I'll be succinct: Dr Poulos was monsterous and caused permanent nerve damage, failed fusion, and capped off that outstanding lack of skill with the utmost in arrogance that shocked not only myself but those who witnessed it. I pray he does not touch another human. My life has been forever changed.
