I have not been happy with Poulin and Assoc, since Dr. Poulin retired. I loved him. Since then they have billed me for a routing exam that my insurance said was covered and I did not owe anything. Today, my daughter was scheduled for an appt at 8am. I took time off from work and she took time off from school and they were closed!! No call from them at all to reschedule her appt. and then I tried calling and the voice message was just there regular message, nothing mentioned about what days they are closed. RecommendedI had exceptional service today. I went to have my lenses put into new frames, My wait time was minimal. The opticians took a long time to make sure my glasses set properly on my face. RecommendedDr. Ian Jones and Dr. Arielle Costello are some of the most professional doctors I have ever met. They care about their patients eye health, not what’s in their wallet. The girls up front are very knowledgeable and can answer most any question you have. They are also very friendly. All of the technicians are kind and professional as well as the Opticians and Ophthalmologists! Poulin and Associates is the best choice in the Central Maine area for your eye health and glasses needs!

I'm afraid to say the service at Poulin has steadily declined over the last 3 years. I used to take lots of my clients there and loved it. When I got vision insurance they were my first call. Unfortunately I've yet to have a good experience there. Everything from not-so-nice reception, to schedule snafu's, to waiting more than an hour past my scheduled appointment time, to having someone shake their finger at me because I wanted to buy lenses elsewhere.
