My husband and I are currently looking for a decent 2 bedroom apartment. We did a lot of research on this property and decided to go put a deposit down (since the manager said there would be a townhome ready in 1 week). Well my husband went in yesterday to put the paperwork in and put down the deposit, and the manager on duty had some "friend" she was talking to there. She treated my husband AWFUL. Been here since March. They said they had a two bedroom downstairs. That was a. Lie. There were bedbugs in the apartment and the air conditioning has never worked. They have security but not constantly. Drug dealers in and out of there all the time. If they decide to fix anything it's months and months later. They allowed their security guard to illegally enter my home with a gun pointed in my face. They refuse to do anything about it. It is not a place for decent living. My experience with Potomac House Apartments was great in the very beginning but later on after I had moved in, things got hasty. Started having problems with neighbors and disliked how the cops were constantly being called out for late night fights in the parking lots. As the previous review said, there is quite a bit of children around the complex. They tend to be extra loud during the morning hours but it's normal for a weekend. Management can and will be lazy.
