I needed an oil change. This place is a mile from my house and I’d had my car serviced there in the past. Basically, my oil change cost $400. Same scam that a bunch of others mentioned. I couldn’t get out of there fast enough.

Very pleased with the service I just had done on my VW Tiguan at Potomac Auto Care. Scheduling was easy and flexible. I was provided an estimate that was spot on and fair. Jay did not try to add on more work than was needed. I'm very happy with the service and will recommend to friends and neighbors.
I think the service was good and was able to get me in immediately, but most expensive oil change in the country for the entry level oil offered. Website shows 60 something dollars for a regular oil change. Most expensive option shows 90 something. They charged me close to 170 for a basic oil change. Even with 3 more quarts than normal I needed to get, doesn’t justify. I don’t know why it’s so expensive here for oil that is super cheap anywhere else. Dealership charges half the price. Wont be returning for that reason alone.... read more
Avoid this place. As other reviewers have observed, these guys trick you into all kinds of repairs. Took my Acura MDX that was in top shape for a 60k mile transmission oil change and walked out with $2K plus bill. I checked after with my regular mechanic and almost everything done by these guys was questionable.
