Not the worst experience, given that it is airport food BUT; Had absolutely nothing on the menu, so had to get a pizza melt that tasted like formerly frozen meat microwaved onto a sandwich. It's hard to make a sandwich so simple taste so mediocre, but impressively it was done.
On 2 separate occasions for lunch and dinner, I have had to order my 3rd or 4th choice in a sandwich because they did not have my preferred sandwhiches on the menu, despite them still being advertised on the screen. The sandwitches are decent quality and reasonably priced for airport food, but this seems like a constant issue with this place.
Sadly, I immediately had the impression the lady taking orders was annoyed that I was there. She didn’t answer questions, she forgot that I asked for no cheese, and she mumbled for me to move on. No smile and no joy. Then she rushed me over to pay before I ordered toppings. Once I ordered toppings, the other lady refused to put avocado on because it would cost extra and she wouldn’t ring me up just for that. Very disappointing altogether. I ordered a chicken cheddar and while the sandwich was good 2 employees were arguing while we waited for our food and one person walked away saying he didn’t want it anymore….the only one who was professional was a young lady with glasses who had to apologize for her coworkers.
I usually love pot belly, but had a bad experience tonight. The person who took my order placed the sandwich in the radiator. Despite not appearing busy, my sandwich sat there (once ready) for over 3 minutes. Another staff member did pick it up and put the veges in. She initially declared that there were no avocados (for the BLTA). However, when I said I may have to reconsider my sandwich choice, suddenly there were avocados. I expect better from an airport restaurant
