Great service! Monica is very personable, professional, always with a smile and does everything she can to understand and help the customers. Forget everything you know about car dealerships! These guys break the mold, Jack, Mike & the finance guy also named Mike are true gems. After being treated like fresh meat at Plaza in Brooklyn and getting to the point I almost lost faith in leasing altogether I called Jack at Potamkin, told him hat I wanted and with in 3 days I was driving the car I wanted for the price I was comfortable with. Dishonest or Incompetent? – I initiated contact with Potamkin Hyundai via an internet sales service at the end of July 2010. Their offer on the car that I wanted was very good, so I figured it was worth arranging things over the phone and traveling 90 minutes to get the car I wanted for a good price. I made a $500 credit card deposit over the phone and waited for them to get the car. I tell them there will be no trade-in and no dealer financing - OK with them. Crooked as they come – I went in for a Hyundai issued recall on the control arms. After keeping my car for nearly a month (couldn't get the part, they say), they returned it to me with steering problems. When I asked them to fix the problem, they said that since it was their fault, they would give me a 15% discount. I sucked it up and paid it, and then they slammed me with hidden charges beyond what we had initially talked about.
