I bought a fireplace insert from PC a few years ago. They have quality brands and a fairly skilled and professional workforce. I got a \$2300 "ballpark" which after an on site estimate turned into a \$3000 bid. I reluctantly went ahead with it. Then the bill came through at \$3300!!!Yes, there was a +/- 10% clause in the quote. Read the fine print if you have them install and expect to be billed the maximum allowed under the contract.
