Great place! – I have been going here for over a year now. I started going to Kayla after having some problems with my previous hairdresser. She has been awesome! I made a significant change from very long hair to extremely short hair and I am so glad that Kayla is the one that I trusted to do it. I carry her cards around with me and recommend Posh whenever I can.

Great! – I love this place! I go to Kayla and she is young and very trendy with all her hair styles whether it be with cut or color! I have went in there many times not knowing exactly what I wanted, just that I have wanted something different and she has came up with something I love everytime! Highly Recommend this place.

Kris Jennings is AWESOME – I discovered Posh only this January when my stylist KRIS JENNINGS, with whom I have been for 12 years now, moved there from another salon (where she had been that whole time). I loved the salon's atmosphere from the moment I walked in; being a Durham resident, I am thrilled to be using the services of a company in the newly-renovated downtown area. Pampered at Posh – Located across the street from Pop's restaurant and the West End Wine Bar, Posh the Salon sits in a trendy section of Durham in a great space. Think hip, cool vibe and spacious warehouse feel. The reception staff is friendly and accommodating. When I called to say I would be late because I had just been pulled over by a state trooper they showed compassion and understanding. Disappointed – All the hype on the new salon. I thought I would try it. "I need a sylist who can talk to me about my hair, age and an appropriate style", I said. "Oh all of our hair stylists are great at that we will give you X" they said. When I asked my stylist what she thought, she looked at me like a deer in the headlights. She ended up giving me a trim of what I already had, was difficult to talk to and generally just inexperienced with the job and people. Very disappointing. Average – I tried this salon for a cut and color. The stylist did a nice job, though the highlights were a little more "chunky" than I would have ideally liked. She also gave me a free deep conditioning treatment, but not after criticizing me for the dryness of my hair and for my choice of hair care products. I found a special on their website for 20% off. best color I've had – I was a teacher at ADF this past summer. I went to the Salon for a single process color and walked out with the best results I ever had. This place is awesome wonderful people and excellent talent. I highly HIGHLY endorse this salon!
