Poor Customer Service
I have been a regular customer of Post Pets for the past two years. I own four very pampered dogs and have spent a good sum of money on sweaters, toys, collars, etc. at the store. Over the two years, I have several times been surprised that although I am such a regular customer, the owner does not seem to recognize either me, my husband or my pets. Not that big of deal but a bit odd for a small business owner. What is a big deal and has led to my decision not to shop at Posh Pets in the future is the attitude of the owner. If it were one encounter, I would write it off to a bad or exceptionally busy day. But what I have encountered on multiple occassions is rude treatment bordering on disgust. Let's face it, most of the items in the store are horridly overpriced and available at other outlets for much less. So what brings you back is the experience. Based on my experience, I can spend my money in places where I am not made to feel like a second-class (or worse) citizen. If the owner can afford to chase off customers who spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars/year at her store, then go for it. But I won't be the offended party again.
