Total Fraud. Scammed me out of over $10,000 for an engine overheat. Never fixed anything. Changed 2 totally unrelated working parts. ~$4,000 of the charges were "diagnostics" while sitting in truck, smoking, poking around damaging things like trying to pop the water pump housing off with a screwdriver, no proper tools or qualified mechanics. Damaged the boat in over $6,000 in repairs - ruined Corian counters, and TV wood trim. No wonder "F" BBB rating and not BBB qualified, and the real reviews would add up to a 3 star... read more

Terrible experience. First, the appointment was two weeks later than promised. Then the mobile mechanic was late by three hours. After he arrived, he worked for two hours before I realized that he wasn't going to talk with me. I went out and said what's up-- he had not gotten my permission to work on anything, but already was putting in new spark plugs and fuel filter, even though I had done that recently. Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. The concept of a mobile marine mechanic was exciting. The mechanic would come to me and make repairs at our house. I was told that I would get an appointment much earlier than I actually did. It was too weeks later. They said he would arrive at 8-- not until 11. Once he was there I expected that he would talk with me about needed repairs. Nope. Worst Marine maintenance company I've ever done business with. They will mislead you lie to you and overcharge you for shit work technicians. Have no idea what they're doing. They use phone calls and YouTube to repair your boat I was charged $1,300 for 40 minutes of work and the work only made the boat worse than it was before they touched it, do not trust this company. Don't be fooled by the ads and websites if I could give negative stars I would...

I strongly advise against using Poseidon Marine. This has been the most unprofessional and frustrating experience I've ever had with a marine service provider. Communication was nearly nonexistent from the start. They arrived to inspect my boat but did not complete any repairs, then returned days later than scheduled, which prevented me from using the boat during that time.
