Since the review from 2020, something has gone seriously wrong with Poseidon Land and Sea Construction. According to buildzoom.com, they had ~25 projects in 2019 and 2020, but have only 8 in 2021 as of October. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Scott provided us an estimate for a seawall in Merritt Island, told us it would take 10-12 weeks to start the 2 week job and took our 10% deposit of $2371 on March 3, 2021. I have responded via email to this customer & he has responded back. There has been sudden material price hikes & supply chain delays due to Covid layoffs in the construction supplier sector. This has caused damage to our company & many others alike. Some pricing on dimensional lumber was up 250% or higher. We gave some owners the opportunity to re-negotiate their contracts to cover the increased material costs. Other contracts were shelfed waiting for the costs to come back down to profitable levels. Scott **** is really on top of his game in building sea walls. We hired him to replace a seawall that had breached behind our home. Scott handled all the permitting and engineering reviews promptly and kept in touch with us during the whole process. He spent time analyzing what caused the breach and provided a solution that allowed his new seawall to be installed properly.
