I work for Fastenal and I placed an order. Before they even shipped the order they invoiced us and then they confirmed the order with some of the items on backorder until 3/25 and 5/25. Because of the long backorder we lost the order and when we went to cancel less than 24 hours later we were told that we may or may not receive the order. We were also charged a 20% restocking fee. What a scam!

Worked here as a temp for a little over a year. Was paid $2-$3 less than my other employees that were hired on but was expected to work 3 positions depending on the day or how busy it was. I was moved back and forth from packing, shipping and picking. Spoke to management about a raise since my job duties were more than my other hired on employees who usually stuck to one role (only picking) or (only packing.) Was promised a promotion to be hired on with a raise once the main boss came back in the country. Didn't miss any day... read more
