Drove 2.5 hours to go out to see a boat, and put down a deposit the next day. We were told the deposit would hold the boat until the following weekend when we could come back for a sea trial and pickup. Got no responses for almost a week and were finally told the boat was sold to someone else after we had already secured finanancing and sold mutual funds to cover costs. Not a good way to do business.
