Tracing its origins to the year 1960, when the Porto family made the tough decision to leave their home in Manzanillo, Cuba. After living through the drastic changes that were taking place around them, they requested permission to leave the country. Immediately Raul Sr. was terminated from his job and sent away to manual labor for the duration of the wait period. Wife, Rosa Porto was also let go. Guava Cheese Pastry
The place has a name everyone recognizes and the pastries creativity and taste back it up. I give props to those hard workers, both in the front and behind the scenes.
Pastelitos are good but Cuban food is not so authentic.
I love their milk cake and potato balls , if you are ever in Los Angeles I highly recommend this place
Great selection of treats and Cuban food.
Very reasonably priced and VERY delicious. Order anything - it's all good. It gets crowded, but the line moves quickly.
