I had such a great experience at Portofino Apartments thanks to Shaileny Ortiz! She was incredibly kind, professional, and helpful throughout the entire leasing process. You can tell she genuinely cares about the residents and goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and supported. The community itself is also beautiful, well-maintained, and feels very safe and peaceful. Definitely a 5-star experience all around — highly recommend!
Very disappointed with the new company Hilltop. The price up is insane, for the package that’s included water, sewer, cable and internet go up so much. I used to be paid with the other company owners $141.00 sometimes less a month and now is $212.74 I live by myself and it’s too much for only one person. Looking forward for the next year. 😳🤦🏻♀️ The front desk customer service Vanessa was the worst I’ve experienced, she’s so rude. The only positive thing is maintenance guys are very nice and friendly.
Avoid Renting Here If You Expect Fair Treatment or Communication I’ve been a resident at Portofino for nearly a year, and while the property itself is decent, the management and leasing office are extremely unresponsive and inconsistent. Most recently, I was hit with a $1,521.50 "insufficient notice" fee, even though the lease clearly states such a charge only applies if the landlord gives proper written notice at least 60 days before the lease ends, as required by both the lease and Florida Statute § 83.575(2). Relocating can be vert difficult / stressful , new job , new community and not knowing the area forces one to rely on the staff representing an apartment complex. While visiting many locations with my daughter for her relocation we found one location that was different . Vanessa immediately gravitated towards my daughters needs, her unawareness to the area and made her feel not only comfortable but gave that first impression of professionalism and one who represent the company at the highest level possible. I will never miss this place. These people had me living in a roach infestation for 3 months and still charged me full rent even though I threw out 100s of dollars worth of groceries. They were in my bathroom cabinets so I couldn’t even keep clean towels as well as have clean food for myself and my dogs. There was a leaky window that was never repaired for months even before I moved out.
