Such a wonderful place for Pocatello! I keep saying it over and over how happy I am that this was done. I don't live here anymore, I've seen a lot of the US and want Pocatello to continue to grow. This gives me hope for Pocatello. My son and his cousins had a blast swimming! Could use some softer sand or something besides gravel but I'm sure there's a issue with that can't be avoided so I'll just make sure and remember flip flops.
Great area t take kids on hot summer days, I only wish the beach area was smoke-free. I couldn't even count the number of cigarette butts I found while walking back and forth from the water to the grass area and then in the grass area itself. I had to pick up Other than that, it's a great place for parents who just needs to get their kids out of the house and spend some time in the sun :)
We love coming here to swim, sun bathe, fish, walk my dog. We attended KORN concert and it was just amazing. Loved the biggest show in idaho too for the 4th!!! Great place.
Loud explosions. The smell of sulphur in the air. All in all, a good.4th of July.

I love to take my grandsons there! But I do wish there was more shade!
The firework show would be better IF the parking lot lights would have been turned off.
