I would like to say that I am so thankful for the amazing, outstanding, and caring service that the entire staff provides here. Even with the restrictions that makes "business as usual" a virtual impossibility, there was always someone who followed up with questions and concerns very quickly. When my Dogs surgery was postponed due to the stay at home order, it wasn't an issue, but when her situation became more urgent, Michelle took the time to follow up and get Zoey in without hesitation..and Doc Opperman did an outstanding... read more
Portland Veterinary Service has always gone above and beyond to take care of my pet family as well as letting me know that I’m doing the best so can to be a good “mom”. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. They have always been upfront about what needs to be done and have given never given me any reason to think they are anything less than concerned about the wellbeing of my pets.
I was sad that they did not inform customers of scheduling surgeries ahead of the time needed. They also, did not talk with clients about what charges are required for surgeries. This made me feel like something was being hidden. When I questioned the charges they said I needed to find a different veterinary service. Hope they can do better for other clients.
I would highly recommend them. The staff is always so nice and knowledgeable. I am very pleased with the care my dog and cats have received.
I want to give a huge shout out to the staff, my girl was very agitated today and on her worst behavior...they were caring and understanding. I can not thank you enough.
very caring ppl they spoil my animals and treat me and our dogs with respect. My name is on the file but Doc Dennis always remembers my son's name. they are amazing and worth the 25 mile drive.

Brought my baby kitten in for his first appointment. The staff and doctors are so nice and welcoming! I am pretty sure he had no idea he even got a vaccine. We are lucky to have such a great animal hospital in town!!
