This was amazing from start to finish! I’m petrified of heights but this wasn’t scary at all. Derek is obviously very good at what he does and made it all seem so effortless! Such a fun experience marked off the bucket list!!!
We loved the Balloon ride. I bought tickets for my wife as a surprise birthday gift and it was all she had ever hoped for and more. You get amazing views of the NW peaks during sunrise. You can even see Rainier. Derek was a great guide. He taught bus about the surrounding area farmland, the history of ballooning and even encouraged us to help so we weren't just standing around doing nothing. Took my new wife for a ride the day after our wedding in 2006 (I think). It was absolutely wonderful. Derek is an incredible pilot. We were amazed by his skill, professionalism, total control and attention to safety. And he's a great guy too! Highly recommend.
