Ordered the haddock dinner and my wife had the lobster roll. Haddock was good. Wife said the lobster roll was not. I doubt we would eat here again.
Lobster stew had 3 small pieces of lobster. It was filled with potatoes.. in my book that is a no-no for lobster stew. Liked the outside eating area.
Seemed like a bit of a tourist trap in hindsight after getting a lobster roll in other parts of New England off the beaten path that had way more lobster in it in the same price range. It was good, but we did find better on this trip.
The food was terrific! I had the Lobster Mac n Cheese, and it's the best I've ever had hands down. Huge chunks of lobster and smooth flavorful cheese compliment the dish. My husband got the Clam Chowder and the Lobster roll and he said two thumbs up on both of those!! The staff was very friendly and seemed enthusiastic and knowledgeable of both the food menu as well as the beer. We will back next year!
Brought our lobsters over fresh from Lucky Catch Cruises, and Portland Lobster Company cooked them and provided an awesome meal! Highly recommend doing this if you are visiting Portland!
We are from New Jersey and this was our first visit to The Portland Lobster Company and we absolutely loved it! The food was amazing, the atmosphere & entertainment was amazing and the fact that we could bring our dog was a big plus for us. Will definately be back on our next visit to Maine.
Great day just relaxing and having a beer on the water, service was fast and food was great!
Great food and awesome live Blues when we were there!
