Excellent seafood while overlooking the lobster piers. They also had a wonderful band playing. Exactly what we were looking for, authentic fishing docks with no fuss. Very clean also.

A first evening in beautiful Maine and unfortunately, the family and I land at the Portland Lobster Company for dinner. The atmosphere is chaos and havoc blended with a rude staff, as they are trained to push thousands through in a short amount of time. Picnic tables and a few high tops crammed together, only to make ample space for a band? Over $100 spent on lobster rolls, crab cakes and drinks. Southerners, take your families and hard earned $$$ elsewhere if looking for a meal and a place to sit and enjoy!

The quart lobster was very disappointing. Little to no meat in the claws, knuckles, and legs. The tail was compromised with the lobster’s innards, so part of it was inedible. The lobster dinner is not worth the... read more
