Portland General Electric is the worst power company ever. Living in Marion county I should be on Salem Electric, but PGE has monopolized this part of the state and has overcharged users for years to fatten the big cats pockets. Lately they raised rates 18 percent for no valid reason and plan to impose another 7 percent in 2025. When is this robbery going to end is my question?

I received 6 invoices in month. Each with increasing rates. I asked for clarification and they said that's just how the meters are read and invoiced? and provided no further clarification. Now they are trying to charge my second meter for 3 times the amount I have ever had to pay for this time of year in the past 4 years. I have approved 1 autopay per month for my home meter and they multiple withdrawals last month without my approval. They have a blatant monopoly and there is nothing anything of us can do about it...

Would not recommend working here but I appreciate the experience I had here. It's basically a place for moms to show their children on teams meetings and talk about their views on popular culture in between learning meaningless information that they want to over critique you on.
