They are swamped with business. It may take a little longer but its worth the wait compared to taking your stuff to some new shop and risking getting screwed like I have been before.
They bored my diesel block back in 2012 on their new CNC laser precision guided boring machine that left each cylinder perfectly bored out from top to bottom at .014 which was the max tolerance for my old diesel. Perfectly done.
I have used PER on several occasions and their work and expertise is non-questionable. I used them back in 2012 when they were in the now transmission warehouse on Hawthorne downtown. They bored my diesel engine block cylinders because Modrall's Machine in Vancouver WA screwed them up! Precision work was done by PER when the cylinders were only left with .003 thousands of tolerance left to work with after Modrall's raked me over the coals.
