We are one of the oldest and largest private endocrinology clinics in the USA. The roots of our clinic go back to the 1920's when insulin first became available for the treatment of diabetes. Through the years PDEC physicians have been leaders in the research and advancement of treatment for endocrinologic diseases. All physicians are certified as Diplomates in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Wehave two locations to serve you.

Super good dude! No BS No one to fill his shoes!
I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes ten years ago. I did some research about Endocrinolgists and ended up with Dr. Beard. It took several month to get in for my first visit but since I became his patient I see him at least three times a year. I always have a list with questions and Dr. Beard always answers all of them without rushing me, even if he is running late once in a while. He is a caring and compassionate Doctor that looks at the hole picture not just wht the tests say. He also has lived with type 1 diabetes and understand more than just books can convey. I am not going to ever see anyone else.. wish his other happy patient would post good reviews. But it's better to keep him a secret. . He is the best ....
My PCP wanted me to get checked out by a doctor here. I called to schedule an appt and was directed to voicemail. There wasn't an opportunity to speak to a person. The outgoing message announced all the information they would need then admonished the caller that if they didn't provide all the information, they would not get a call back to schedule.
