I went to the drive through lane as the in restaurant part was closed. I had my order written down on paper and just gave it to the girl to input on her little device. This included an order for my Daughter as well. When I got back I found that they had substituted my Garbage salad ( On the website) with a side salad and had the wrong dressing. I called and got a rude manager who's attitude was so bad I had to end the call. Never again.. lost a customer here.

I have had a horrible experience with the Manger(Wilma)at the Gurnee location. She was terribly rude to not only me but her employee. She was giving me attitude for wanting a refund, and was also disrespecting her employee for messing up the order. I don’t think she should be working there anymore.

It is a shame what they have done to my once most favorite take-out in the world!!! I no longer live in close proximity so I decided to order online for 2-day delivery. All was good till they dropped the package at UPS - as soon as the package dropped the delivery date was changed from the 31st to the 4th. Ever since then I have tried to contact Portillo's to find out if the food will even be good when I get it. I had a really awful experience with a manager at the location on Rt.59 in Naperville. I called the customer service line and also wrote a detailed report which I submitted. I was informed that someone would be in contact with me within 48 hours. It's been 10 days without a response. Note to Portillo's higher up's ... It's far worse to offer this and not reply. There are far too many food options available. I won't be back.
