Have8ng s9meone outside in the cold to do orders is ridiculous, its 8° out right now, then they have to say everything i say over the walkie too? I'm cool with the speaker and a menu then everyone hears what I say and everyone knows, there's no mix ups, quit putting people outside in the cold
I have been a Portillo's customer for forever, first in the Chicago suburbs and then in Davenport. After my visit today however, I am done. I don't know what they did to my Italian beef & sausage sandwich but that is the last time I am going to pay that much for food that was barely edible.
Portillo’s has a great atmosphere filled with classic signs and neon, very fun and nostalgic. My Big Beef was solid. Service, however, missed the mark; the girl at the counter was rude and acted like she didn’t want to be there. Despite that, the food and vibe still make Portillo’s worth a visit.
You can never go wrong with Portillo's.
