Confident recommendation Porters is one of my favorites. Whenever friends from out of state come to visit Porters is where we go first. The atmosphere is great, they have done an excellent job in remodeling and capturing the ambiance of the old train station. I especially like their steaks. I recommend Porters with confidence.
Porters Dining At The Depot is GREAT It was great. I got the shrimp, husband got the steak. It was just great. They even had local fruits and wines. They were great with my two kids. We will go back again.
It's ok. – Cheap bar food. Cheap to you because the freezer bags of it are cheap to them. Dinner not too bad. Expensive not because it is super pricey, but in reference to it's 'quality.' Good enough atmosphere, so your long wait for service isn't too unpleasant. Whatever. There are certainly worse places in Medford (though several much better).
Go here for a nice dinner! Porters is a beautiful restaurant in Medford's old train station. The food is perfect- they utilize local pears and Rogue Valley Creamery cheeses in their dishes. The bar food is good, too. For a really nice dinner in Medford, this is the place to go. Highly reccommended!
Quality is served I had the pleasure of ordering the Rogue Valley salad and it was wonderful. It used the areas cheese and pears to create a delectable salad. Very much worth ordering. The Chicken Marsala was tender, moist and tasty - a great combination. The atmosphere is both great for business or romance. A quality restaurant in the center of Medford. No need to go to Ashland for quality, upscale food.
PERFECTION We have few really good restaurants in the Medford area. This one is the best. From the beautiful decor, wonderful food and the great staff it is a wonderful way to spend the evening. Can't find enough good things to say about this great restaurant.
Terrific Food and Atmosphere, Terrible Service. – I have been a "Summertime Regular" for about 4 yrs., and I must say that the ambiance and character of Porters is amazing. The back patio, with its strategically placed Adirondack patio furniture, greenery and heat lamps are a perfect setting for after-work cocktails into the cool Rogue Valley evenings with family, friends and peers. Nice place for Medford, Good Drinks. Nice atmosphere and a historic feel. Try the grey goose and vodka or 5.
Best steak I've had in years! – We, ( a party of 4), were seated promptlyand courteously and offered dinner suggestions and specials. Though prices struck me as a little excessive, they seem to be in line with other places of this type. We agreed that the food was uniformly excellent. We'd go back.
