I brought my car to porterfeild tire in watkinsville for new tires. after leaving, all 4 of my aluminum wheels were cracked and leaking. I've spent over $1000 replacing 3 wheels and still have 1 left to replace. I tried talking to them about it but was left with them saying it was my fault. never again will I come here. not even for an oil change. do not recommend if you have nice rims.

I took my car to the dealership for routine service and was told I needed a very specific repair. Brought it to Porterfield upon recommendation from a friend, told them what I needed, and they quoted me almost 50% less than the dealership. For all the Oconee folks: When you need tires (because everyone does), it’s a no-brainer that you should use Porterfield Tire. They came highly recommended and I know exactly why now. I recently needed a set of tires, so I dropped my car off on a Sunday evening. The following morning, I received a call well before 8:00 AM from a courteous gentleman and we went over the options. Great sales and service!
I don't take my cars anywhere else! These guys are busy for a reason - they are honest and do good work. On one visit, they quoted me a price on a job and I agreed to that price. Afterwards, they told me the job was easier than they expected and only charged me half of what they quoted. Highly recommend this shop!
We have lived here for 12 years. This family is ALWAYS helpful, kind, and fair. They employ skilled people with manners, and have always diagnosed and repaired correctly at a reasonable price. Tires and oil changes very good prices and service also. They support our local schools and youth in MANY ways. Today, they sent someone to my house to jump my car off without charge.
