My mother just moved in to an apartment there yesterday. With her current situation, she didn't have much choice as to where she was going to live. Upon driving into the complex, they looked shoddy. Then, walking into the building and apartment unit, it was confirmed. Walls were filthy, carpets didn't appear clean and as we were cleaning, noticed roaches and roach casings. I would have to agree with Jethro....the cops are always there..stray cats running everywhere, the grounds needs some serious work, and there seems to be differnt rules for different renters...only reason it got one star is cause I couldnt leave zero..I would not reccomend this place at all
I am in total agreement with all the previous posts. Because of the atrocious management of this property, it doesn t even deserve one single star!!! She (without naming names, the on-site manager) is *completely* unprofessional, unethical, biased, inappropriate, and thoroughly incompetent. I m just thankful beyond words that my son didn t end up moving in. I have to admit I m surprised that there are ANY tenants given the way they are treated and how business is conducted .
I have to agree totally with jethro and c. The property manager never seems to know who you are or what apartment you are from when rent is due. I don t live in the apartments but have a family member who does and this person had to completely clean (and paint) their apartment before moving in and still had to pay a deposit. Drugs are a serious problem in several of the buildings. I heard there was a stabbing the other day. Is this Kearney or downtown KC?
These are not the apartments that you would want. They are not child friendly because the manager does not like kids outside and she yells at them, there is no peace and quite either your neighbors are fighting at all hours of the night and day, there is no on site maintenance like she claims there is, and they are drug infested with sellers and users. Recently four people where evicted with a three day notice because of their children. I am sorry to say but I would not sagest moving into them.
