I understand why some think that he has a poor bedside manner. When I first met him, he was abrupt and overly clinical. However, he does know his stuff. I stuck with him because he stopped my migraines. I recently had a new problem with nerve pain and during testing, broke down in the office. He spent a long time keeping a cool cloth on my head and talking with me; telling me stories. I misjudged him and saw a new side of him. He is kind as well as gifted. He has healed the nerve pain, too.

Dr Porter treats my daughter and I for severe chronic migraines. He understands the problems we have and treats us wit understanding and top of line medical care. He did talk to my daughter the first visit and told her she could take his advice seriously and to letter or go elsewhere but that's what she needed to listen . If I have a migraine that my other meds have not controlled and taking too many shots he had told me to tell his staff to interrupt him and sch sphenocath that day and they do!

Completely dismissive of my daughter. Would not refer her to surgeon as requested. Repeatedly tried to prescribe a medication that she explained she had a bad reaction to before. So he gave a different med NOT indicated for her condition; med did not help and made her feel depressed. She returned; told him her symptoms since starting on the med. He waved his finger and told her he was not going to discuss that. Depression is a common side effect of that med. PCP stopped med; no more depression!

I will never recommend Dr. Mark Porter to family, friends, or anyone else. His bedside manner is nonexistent. He displayed a lack of interest in my health. when I brought you concerns he made me feel as if they were not valid, however, was unable to provide any answers.

worse than no care. an utterly abhorrent physician. bedside manner is not bad- iit is non-existent. Worse case of god complex I ever encountered with aggravated contempt and disdain for patients. impatient. inattentive. hostile. condescending. treated me as if I was the problem with the world and nothing I could possibly say would have any way of mattering. no effort was made to disguise his haughtiness. it was openly flaunted. No excuse for such an attitude. A disgrace to the oath he took

This doctor made me feel like my problems were trivial. Charged me $350 to tell me he has no idea about my MRI findings or my other symptoms. Was made to feel insignificant. Made jokes and quieted me while he asked my husband questions about me, THE PATIENT. Clueless and classless. If I could, I would assign 0 out of 5 stars for anything pertaining to him.

This man is a horrible doctor with a horrible bedside manner. He made me cry in an appt because he was berating me and then yelled and asked what I was crying for. I had just finished chemofor breast cancer and was having several episodes of syncope. DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!

it was awful! I was sent there by my primary physician for a lacunar stroke. I wasn't impressed the first time. He acted as if it was no big deal. It was for me. I felt awful. Even though I wasn't paralyzed I had questions he didn't want to listen. I kept having problems so my primary doctor suggested I see him again. Mistake. He acted as if I was wasting his time. He made me feel like my problems were insignificant. I didn't go there for sympathy. I needed answers. No way would I refer him
