with all the problems going on in "extortion alley" I'm surprised anything can get done. the city's slip is showing. the corruption is finally seeing the light. the entire city govt should be fired, from council to police.
Crooked little town in my opinion. Dirty cops in my opinion too. I drove a taxi cab for years and witnessed harrassment and was harrassed by these "police".
The Port Wentworth (PW) chamber is always working to better PW. Change for some people is hard to deal with BUT no matter change happens just like getting old. PW Chamber works with all citizens and the business community. They Host several great events; One of the biggest events is the Oyster Roast. I volunteer each year and look forward to helping with anyway I can. Your work is noticed all over PW; awesome job keep doing what you do!!!
I grew up in P.W. It hasn't changed too much in 30 years and it still has that 1950s small town atmosphere despite a few big businesses on the outskirts as in Pooler. It's still my favourite Southern town.
The port wentworth chamber is awesome. They do a lot for the citizens and business community. Host several great events - oyster roast and fishing tournament are super community events. I manage a business in port Wentworth and they have always been there to support our efforts. Keep up the great work. I see a few people commented and gave them a 1 because of the police deptment and other city departments. Just wanted to clear something up. - The chamber has nothing to do with the actual city governmental offices.
