I had a truly disappointing and frustrating experience with this dentist office. I scheduled two appointments with them, hoping to get my tooth extracted as recommended during my first visit. Unfortunately, both appointments turned out to be nothing short of a waste of my time and patience. DentIst claimed other specialty dentist needed for 1st part of treatment and would advice date/time arranged. Months have gone by now and no treatment arranged. Meantime condition has deteriorated further, not to mention ongoing discomfort, infections and pain. Since the medicare insurance is restricted for dental and substantially limited for requested fees, dentist is lackadaisical, apathetic and grossly negligent. Consideration, disrespect and greed prevails !

Don't ever visit this office. Always get a second opinion. They made me wait months to complete the treatment plan of having my cavities filled. The staff is unbelievably disorganized. No one ever picks up the phone. They take advantage of people with medicaid and submit claims for dental work I never got done. Dr. Espinosa is a kind dentist which is rare but she deserves to be in a better office. The front desk receptionist always mixes up my appts, forgets to submit my claims and never picks up the phone. I went to this office four times. First time I came in for a cleaning they told me I had a tooth cracked and they needed to fill it in and they said I would need to come back to do that. Each time, they made me wait over an hour and a half. The filling took them less then 10 minutes - such a waste of my time that they couldn't do it on the spot. The worst dental practice ever. Run while you still have time. My husband went to bell dental care in bayside for a canker sore in his mouth. The office did not put in authorization for procedure to cut it. I know because I called united Healthcare. I left four messages for Jenny who handles insurance claims. She never bothered to return my phone calls. they don't care. Since then the canker is getting larger and my poor husband can't close his lips. Am suing them
My son who has special needs had 2 wisdom teeth removed last Thursday, the oral surgeon and her assistant were very nice to him and handled him well. They kept him calm. I want to say thank you so much for their help.

anthony k today 10/14/2020 first time to the practice well 60 year old lifetime resident of astoria and let me say the best experience i have ever had with a dentists doctor Espinosa was the most dedicated to the complete satisfaction of her patient ME!!! and would highly recommend her and this office to everyone IRENE i believe the office manager told me she would forward all the things that the doctor said i should look into to the insurance company for approval... hands on from front to finish great job to all staff!!!!
