When you get there there is a sign saying you need to reserve by 4 pm the day before. I didn’t see this on the website anywhere. The restaurant staff tried to contact the owner and I appreciate that. If the rental procedures were more clear we would have planned ahead as to not waste such a beautiful afternoon.

I am going to be very fair here... minus one star for DIRTY, STINKY, DISGUSTING, etc. life jackets, just horrible!, don't think that they have ever been washed. Minus one star for not having transport for the 4 and 6 hrs ride, . also: came back on the same canal because I didn't feel like carrying the canoes from the canal to the river (no help available); BUT!, I am going to let this one go because we ended up very tired with the 2 1/2 hrs. so forget about it, we would have not made it, and is not their fault that they are ... read more

Great place. Been going here for a few years with my kids. I agree w last review. The life jackets they rent you with the yak or canoe are super gross dirty. We just throw them in the back of the yak and don't wear them but recommend bringing your own if you really need to wear one.
