We are reporting them to state agencies. It is clear from the reviews and our own personal experience that they lack experience to handle a toll bridge. They sent our mail to the wrong address which they claim is on file with the dmv. False. We contacted the DMV and they have our right address. They are scammers and charged a $25 late fee and then when we called they wanted us to join their membership. SCAMMERS big time and you will be reported for it.
Avoid the Hood River bridge. They stopped employing a toll collector, and now only use Breezeby or will bill you by mail. I missed the letters because I’ve been traveling and not home, and they’re charging me a $25 late fee. When I emailed to complain they replied that they can’t do anything about the fee, and told me that if I don’t pay today they’ll add another $25 fee. I’ll taking a new route from now on when I travel just to avoid this bridge. I feel sorry for the people who rely on it for work.
Adding to the LITANY of bad reviews here with the same situation: Drove through ready to pay the toll, no one at the manned booth. There was ZERO signage informing me I would be billed. In fact the only signage just said "Don't stop, drive through". I thought "Oh how nice, they must be waiving fees today". Fast forward to getting a bill in the mail. Website does not work to pay. This is Such a Scam. I just received a unpaid toll because there was nobody at the tollbooth and they attached a $25 late fee. They said they sent the first bill 21 days before, which they never did. They've also charged me an exorbitant parking fee at the Hook because they don't even have signs up over. The only signs are about 500 yards away at the entrance (along with multiple other signs that no one sees) or the 2 small signs spread out over 200 yards. These people are crooks! Makes me not want to go to hood river again.
Beware, they'll send your bill to collections. I'll admit, I was at fault for not updating my tags. I'm local and got a transponder with temp tags on a truck I rarely drive. Apparently they started charging me instead of deducting my breezeby account back in march for that vehicle. My $10 toll had a $30 late fee added and was sent to a third party collection agency.
