Dr. Kostalas is intelligent and fairly caring. His selection of drugs was in my case proved wise and beneficial. He gave thorough explanations of his analysis and the treatments. I will say though, he could have been more understanding as to the effect of mood/mental disorders that are nearly inevitable in such chronic conditions. I’m fighting to contain my anger over the complete disregard of my son’s inborn error of metabolism and the seriousness of the diagnosis when I attended an appointment recently. I have fought for 21 years to keep my son alive, battling a medical system that provides no training on fatty oxidation disorders and the complexity of a disease that is absolutely devastating, to find my son on life support last year for three weeks. With a history of bowel cancer in my family I have had numerous procedures by Dr Kostalas. His vigilance has led to early intervention and I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is supported by an excellent professional team at his practice and I have always received the best of attention and excellent care.
Could not recommend A/Prof Kostalas and his entire team more highly. A/Prof has gone above and beyond caring about my well being as a patient.
Dr Stuart Kostalas is an amazing, caring, brilliant doctor. I cannot recommend him highly enough. I wouldn’t go to anyone else. I give him 10 stars.
