As a GP practising in Port Macquarie for over 20 years, I have always supported Port Macquarie Base Hospital. However, after today’s experience with my elderly mother, I now understand why many patients have voiced concerns. In 2023 I had to visit Port base few times before surgery in the private hospital, I can't fault the base at all . nurses caring ,press the buzzer never had to wait ,staff helpful ,no complaints thankyou for taking care of me so well.
