Fantastic place to stay I love staying at the Port on business trips. The owners are very courteous and personable. The building is beautifully remodeled with excellent finishing details that make the place unique. The food is excellent. I don't have anything bad to say about this charming B&B.
A great place for Mothers' Day Brunch We came to the Port Hotel for Mothers' Day brunch and were plesantly surprised. The food was outstanding and there were a variety of choices. The seating was a bit tight (small rooms with lots of tables in them) and the line to the buffet was a bit inconvenient, but other than that we had a pleasant experience.
I have been to the Port Restaurant many times. On a most recent visit I had the prime rib buffet on a Sunday. On our past visits we were allowed to take our prime rib home on the first order. This past Sunday the waitress was very rude and would not let me take the meat home. The waitress preceded to stand in a group of coworkers and talk about us. When family is in from out of town or we celebrate our anniversary, the Port Hotel is our favorite. The generous complimentary appetizer and bread basket leaves you wondering if you even needed to order dinner. The prime rib is always perfect and it���s hard to leave room for the chocolate decadence cake!
