I frequented the place in New Bern, Ahoskie, and Greenville for over a decade. December 23, 2014 at Greenville Detox, was the day I surrendered. Didn't really know it at the time. They hooked me up with then, The Healing Place of Wake County (now Healing Transitions). I celebrated 2yrs. just the other day. Give yourself a break and invest some real time in your recovery. Get a sponsor, work the steps, get a home group, build a network. Then practice the spiritual principles as a way of life, One Day at a Time. Then you will ... read more

I think port human services is ridiculous on what they expect out of there patients they want you to go there at least 3 times a week on the suboxene program and when you call them to get in the program there are almost month behind on appointments. These programs are out there to help people with drug problems they need to be more understanding and try to help people out then making excuses that they can't get you in until a month most people that ask for help are on there last straw and can't take it anymore searching for ... read more

Instead of seeking legitimate assistance for him, she enabled him and went against all the rules of therapy and AA and even started a "relationship" with him no... read more

I absolutely loved my job at Stepping Stone Manor and wish I could have stayed employed there. As some people have been gracious enough to explain to me, I have out grown this facility for the education that I have. I intend on completing my degree within the next year and possibly returning to this line of work. I would recommend PORT Human Services to anyone that need recovery and anyone in need of employment. You can not go wrong with this company.
