Not a place to call home. My family hasn't even lived here 2months and I can already tell we won't be staying here as long as I expected. Started out with the apartment wasn't ready still had numerous repairs that still needed to be done. When you 1st move in 1 of the last things you want is maintenance coming in and out still fixing things. Now I find out I pay the NIPSCO but they control when I can have it. Maintenance SUCKS!!!! Apartments are cheaply made!! The MAINTENANCE HERE SUCKS!!! THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!!! One guy named Paul needs to be fired!!!! And there are NO SPEED BUMPS NEAR THE PLAYGROUND!!!! MANAGEMENT IS MORE WORRIED ABOUT KEEPING UP WITH SECTION 8 THAN ANY THING ELSE ON THE PROPERTY!!!! And even though you pay through the nose for rent....YOU STILL HAVE TO BUY A POOL PASS!!!! TERRIBLE for long term residency... OK for first time place to live. . .
Slow to Fix, Quick to collect I waited 6 months for them to repair the Frig. I was late 5mins and was penalized.
Port Crossing Apartments Excellent community to live in , Great schools, Safe for kids to play in all designated play areas, apartments are very well kept ,great location. Staff are very professional and nice . maintenance are always there when you need them.
Port Crossings These buildings are close to shopping, food, and an I-MAX Theater. The best part about the unit I live in is the view of the beautiful pond with light up fountain. Many kinds of wild life live around this pond. Unfortunately, the staff is slow to fix any problems you may have in your unit and does not always fix the problem. The neighbors are loud and always slam the doors. The units are also kind of small, but it's the best rent rate I've seen in NW IN.
